connect imac via bluetooth to esinkin bluetooth adapter on stereo receiver

I have a bluetooth adapter connected to my older AV receiver. I can stream audio from iphone to it.

I want to be able to play music from my iMac to it.

Is this possible? On my imac Bluetooth sys prefs, the device does not show up.
