Apple TV 4: Unable to turn off narration on Disney Plus

You have to be in your Disney plus program or movie, swipe down on your Apple TV controller to show audio and subtitles. In the audio you should see a bunch of different languages. If it’s not on just English, that’s why you’re having the narrator. Once you put it back on to English only, you should lose the narrator.

Select a non-AD language track for audio, to stop the Audio Descriptions.

Turn audio descriptions on or off on your Apple TV or smart TV - Apple Support

• There is a global (whole device) AD setting for upcoming videos.
• There is an ad hoc per stream selection for AD for the currently playing video.

I have a solution if you get your iphone then go to the disney + app you would be allow to turn off the descriptive audio but you would have to close the disney + app on your apple tv and then re open it after you fix it on your phone it should work since it worked for me

If there is an error in the stream itself, then contact the content provider about that.

This is happening to me on all of my apple devices and I do not have any audio descriptions on. This just started two days ago so it must be something with Apple or Disney that needs to be corrected. It is very annoying and distracting. We pay for the service and devices but unfortunately can’t enjoy them with this narrating that is happening!!!! Fix it!!!!
