app store not displaying correctly

Two days ago the App Store display changed. I was just checking for updates and got a weird display. I'm running OS 10.13.6 on my iMac and on my powerbook and get the same display on each. I've tried rebooting with extensions off and I've tried creating a new account and trying it from there. I get the same results each time. If I've remembered to attach it, you'll see a picture of what I get when I click the updates tab. I've also tried signing off and back on. Whatever it is, it occurred at the same time on both my computers. Help!

anyway, seems like that issue with the App Store not displaying on older machines (of which Apple says they are supported) is not going away, they are busy selling to a different crowd now…

i decided to live with that new reality, and I upgraded - in my case a legacy(🤣) iMac with a few new memory chips, kicked the fusion drive out and replaced it witH a 2TB SSD. QUITE easy actually, if an aging ortho surgeon can do it, so can anybody who recognizes the business end of a screwdriver

And being legacy hardware myself: I recommend anybody with legacy hardware to stick PROUDLY with it as long as possible. These WERE good machines, but they did not come in pink and you could not personalize them with a cutesy emoji 🥰

Wow! What an unbelievable message in a Apple support community site. You obviously are a passive aggressive person. Threatening me behind the security of your laptop. I could not care in the least. Move on and cyber bully someone else who won’t put up with your arrogance and rudeness. Now fully understand why you don’t get paid by Apple. You are on my radar.
