ipad hdmi adapter

Want to know if the ipad can use CEC command trough the HDMI adapter to control the connected device. (like soundbar hdmi arc input or other similar devices)

To the very best of my knowledge, the Apple Lightning to Digital AV Adapter does not provide CEC over HDMI.
