iPad recently started beeping
Only recently, if my phone rings while my iPad is charging, the iPad makes annoying beeping noise until I unplug the charger. What is happening and is it related to the most recent iPadOS update?

Hello debpolsky and welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears you are having some difficulty with the option to answer incoming calls on your iPad when it's connected to the charger.
Make and receive calls on your Mac, iPad, or iPod touch
As a first step, try turning this feature off. Then, reboot both the iPhone and the iPad and test.
