ICloud Mail is Slow

I wonder how it would be handled if your first contact to Apple Support was saying you are away from home and do not have an Apple device. Maybe saying your only access to your email was iCloud on a web browser on another computer. Probably say they can't help you right off the bat and after a few calls you find someone who agrees it is an iCloud problem and pass it on to engineering where someone actually fixes your problem.

Otherwise, be prepared to go through several calls to first line, second line, and possibly a supervisor telling you after hours of checking your devices there is nothing they can do before like others on this forum you find someone who agrees it is an iCloud problem and pass it on to engineering where someone actually fixes your problem.

Mine is back to normal as of yesterday. If you haven't submitted feedback to Apple yet, I suggest you do.

I also noticed that this ongoing problem started about the same time, when the status page actually showed that there was a problem with email.

I'm having the same issue and it is very frustrating. I have no issues with Gmail or Outlook. It doesn't matter if I use my MacBook or my iPhone; wifi at home or work, or Verizon 5G. iCloud mail is insanely slow to load lately to the point where I'm about ready to dump iCloud mail altogether for another option.

Sad to say that sounds like a rhetorical question these days. Apple is dead! Gilded feces it is. They suicided themselves the minute they decided to fuse the motherboard with 20 yo outdated graphic cards, and then the whole dongle conspiracy!

I am also having the same issue. Started not quite a week ago, across my MacBook, iPhone and iPad, be it on wifi (multiple locations) or on cellular, though occasionally better on cell. My home wifi is 1GB service AND my back gmail and yahoo email accounts are not exhibiting the problem (they are speedy). I have also tried to access the browser interface, for which I am seeing the same issue.

Fingers cross this gets fixed soon! Or someone discovers a solution.

Yes!! Apple, please fix this. I’ve used my me.com email for years with few issues on and off but never for this long. Same symptoms as above. iCloud mail loads at 28.8kbps dial up speed if that. Often it also fails to sync with my Mac mail app. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️It has been happening for at least 2 weeks.

I've had the same problem for about 3 weeks now (Macbook Pro 13 - M1 with macOS 11.4 / iPhone 12 Pro with iOS 14.6). The problem is with me both in wifi as well as with 4G/5G. This problem is very annoying.

It is beyond a joke currently. I have decided to move away from Apple because of this issue. Works in the morning but is too slow to use in the afternoon. They will not accept they have an issue-always have you got the latest update etc etc ? I think the latest update must be the afternoon version.

Ive done updates, reinstalls, & lost things whilst doing so…. And trying to answer emails but having to wait 5minutes or more for messages to appear !!

the Issue is definitely NOT fixed - I've had problem for a month now - spent over 6 calls / 8 hours on the phone with Apple - some of my emails have taken a full 12 minutes to open. Fastest one opens after 3 minutes. Brutal.

While using the Mail app, and culling this mornings inbox messages, not only does it take anywhere from 30 seconds to whatever, waiting to view the body of the message, sometimes the entire message in the body will not show.
