Mail sent to myself is now slow to arrive.

Some messages sent by others, now appear to be slow to arrive, as they eventually show up in the inbox, long after I have viewed and/or read messages in the 'Inbox', that were sent either earlier or later.

Some messages that are now sent by other senders, the body of message slow to render.

Messages that are now deleted from server on any particular device, are not being deleted from the server on other devices.

Some messages are now arriving with incomplete and/or scrambled text, which may/may not eventually render correctly.

Legit messages are now ending up in 'Junk'. Even messages from senders that I previously received messages from. Also, when messages from certain senders that arrive in the 'Junk' folder, and are marked as 'Not Junk', new messages from the very same sender, end up in the 'Junk' folder. This happens quite a few times with messages sent from 'Progressive' sites.

Just wanted to chime in that i'm now experiencing this as well, across multiple devices, both via app and iCloud. It started this morning, my mail app on my phone looked exactly like the video on page one of this thread. Assumed it was just the phone, restarted, no joy. The noticed that the same behavior was exhibited on my MacBook pro. Excruciatingly slow. So, to troubleshoot, logged into iCloud to make sure it wasn't app or hardware. Same thing. My iCloud mail is almost unbearable, taking nearly a full minute to display a message. This all just started today, everything was fine last night. Very frustrating, basically unusable at this point.

Yup. Me too. Mine had been fine til about 6/2. Clearly this is a server(s) problem!! The "time of day" element certainly confirms that. And, to add insult to injury, I've been unable to get any kind of phone/chat/email (pffft) support. This is not the kind of problem that *should* be difficult for Apple admins to track & rectify -- I'm not convinced that they're even listening.

I'm in California, and at about 6:45 pm PDT when I clicked on the email with your message, it took about 90 seconds for it to load, but now everything seems to be loading quickly.

But it's not just the slowness that worries me; it's that my iCloud mail is not syncing with my 3 devices (phone, iMac, and laptop). Do you think the engineers are aware of that issue, as well? I sure hope so!

Great! Last night by about 9:00 pm PDT, I had deleted or read everything in my iCloud mailbox on my laptop, but I still had 197 emails in my iCloud box on my iPhone. Suddenly those emails started disappearing (as read or deleted), so I was happy that something clearly had happened on Apple's end of things.

But I just woke up at 7:30 am PDT, and found 56 new emails on my iPhone but NONE on my laptop (I haven't checked my iMac, as I'm too lazy to go upstairs before coffee). And I just clicked on an already-read email on my laptop from yesterday, and it's taking forever to load again—it's been over two minutes, and it still is loading. I guess it's not entirely fixed yet--but I'm optimistic, since some things improved!

Papjo -- Massive thanks (& congratulations!!) for getting through to Apple engineering, & getting them to deal with the problem!!

I have never worked for Apple, & don't claim to have insider information about exactly how their server system works; however, I've worked on similar high-availability systems. It has been excruciating to be able to "see through" the assorted symptoms, & not be able to get past the first-level support people.
