Can’t invite my wife to my home pod

When I search her to invite her to join all of her emails done turn orange so it won’t let me invite her

Homekit I have been unsuccessful in inviting my wife to apple HomeKit. We have different apple iCloud accounts and when I invite her and we click accept on her phone or computer, we get a spinning wheel. That wheel spins for a few minutes and then it stops and the accept button reappears or a notice saying it was unsuccessful appears. I have invited her using her regular email and her iCloud email and no success with either account. Also, in my latest attempt our HomePod mini won’t play music anymore from my devices. I have an Apple Music subscription that is still active so I know it’s now a subscription problem. This is starting to become very frustrating. Any way on how to fix this? Other threads haven’t produced solutions that have worked.

Home Pod can't deal with split Apple IDs? My Home Pods stopped working. When I try to sign them into my account the Home app spins, then says it wasn't able to complete the operation. My guess from reading the forums is that I've been an Apple customer too long, so I have two accounts because I've been an Apple customer longer than any of these services. Is this a known bug? @ AirPods, 2 iPads, 1 Apple ID not working independently? My wife and I have an iPad each and AirPods each but only one Apple id. We are having difficulty using the AirPods independently - for example listening to different music (like Apple Music, which we subscribe to, but not the Family Package) at the same time. I keep picking up my wife's music and vice versa. How do we 'get divorced' and enable us to listen or watch movies independently without each picking up the other's listening/watching selections. I wondered if having one Apple ID was the cause of the problems, but I am reluctant to get a second ID in case it prevents or restricts access to things like iCloud. I suspect it may have something to do with settings, perhaps. Can anyone help please as the frustration is killing us?
