Apple Watch is locked!

I lost my watch somewhere in the house. I don’t know where. Siri says it’s nearby but that’s for one of four rooms. I can’t hear the pings. My iPhone says my Apple watch is LOCKED because it detected it fell off or was taken off my wrist. Now I have to unlock it. Does anyone know how? Thanks!
