MacBook Pro M1 screen ghosting

I recently just bought this Mac and this is my first Mac I've ever purchased and I noticed something with the display. When I move text on a dark background it looks like a trail is left behind it and then disappears. Or if you have settings open and move the window around in a circle it looks like the pictures and text is fading. Im not sure if this is normal and I would like someone to see if they have it too.

Greetings samd52,

We understand that you have some questions about the display on your Mac, and we'd like to help.

First, restart your Mac in safe mode. This helps to perform a basic check of your startup disk, deletes some system caches and more. Here's an article with more information and the proper steps to take: How to use safe mode on your Mac. Once you're in safe mode, please restart your Mac as normal and see if you continue to experience the same behavior.

Also, do you have any peripherals connected to your Mac such as an external display or any external drives? If so, try disconnecting them to see if the issue continues.

Take care.
