Transferring Voice Memos in Bulk without iCloud nor Airdrop

Hi, I have hundreds of voice memos accumulated over the years (total size 38 GB). And Somehow in Finder, my when I select my iPhone, it does not have the Voice Memo option on it.

So far the first way to transfer is by using Airdrop but this way can only be done one by one. Well, I got hundreds of them, so I prefer to do bulk transfer.

Second way is by using iCloud service. But I don't want to pay iCloud for additional storage just to transfer my voice memos (which is 38 GB in size).

How do I transfer them in bulk another way?

Isn't this voice memos my own property just like any other files? Why I cannot just drag and drop to my folders ?

This is genius. I had actually downloaded imazing to get my music off of old iPhones but entirely forgot that it had so many great functions.

imazing worked to bulk offload several gigs of multiple-hour recordings. I highly recommend it to others with this issue.

It’s unfortunate that we’re forced to purchase third-party software to access data on our own iPhones, but here we are 😒

Thanks for the great tip, Meg the Dog!!

A quick Google search got me this:

Here's how to import voice memos from iPhone to Mac.
1 - Connect both devices using USB cable and launch iTunes or Finder window (Big Sur).
2 - Select your iPhone then click on “Music” tab in the sidebar.
3 - Choose “Sync Music” then select “Include voice memos” to extract them.
4 - Click “Apply” button to download voice memos to your Mac.

Haven't tried is as I don't have any voice memos but give it a try.
