I am using OSX High Sierra. Recently, the font on the Update tab of the App store has changed to a serif font (something like CG Times). The other tabs on the App Store remain as they should be and I have not noticed any font discrepancies anywhere else on the OS or using any other apps. Any suggestions what has happened?

We understand you're seeing a different font than expected for the Update tab in the App Store. We'll be happy to help.
To begin, start your Mac in safe mode. This clears some caches and can help fix some issues. Use the steps here: How to use safe mode on your Mac
Once you start in safe mode, check the issue, then restart and test again.
If it still shows, test in a new user account: Set up users, guests, and groups
This will let us know if it's system-wide or isolated to one account.
