iwatch not pairing after update

My iwatch 3 will not pair with updated iphone update. The watch is not on my phone, icloud and my watch is acting as though it wants to pair but goes back to the screen saying its paired already. I've had this watch for 2 years and never had an issue until latest update on my iphone.
