External Mouse doesn't work on M1 macbook.

I have a microsoft wireless mouse, when I connect the mouse to my macbook pro, it doesn't work while the mouse name shows in system report..usb

what I could do to solve this issue ?

note: the mouse is works normally on other devices.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

To get started, does the built-in trackpad for your Mac work without issue? Also, if you try using a different mouse with your Mac, does the same thing occur?


This can help us to isolate whether the behavior is specific to this mouse. Alternatively, do other Bluetooth devices work with your Mac?


While this article is specific to Apple devices, it has some steps for general troubleshooting that might be helpful: If your Apple wireless mouse, keyboard, or trackpad isn't working with your Mac as expected - Apple Support
