Thanks for giving those steps a try. Can you please tell us if the Ring/Silent switch ever worked correctly on your device? If so, please tell us when you first noticed that it stopped working and if you recently made any changes to the settings in your device.
Lastly, can you please tell us which version of iOS you are currently running?
