Apple HomeKit inviting user kicks out Administrator

Are there any solutions to this issue?

every time I try to add a specific user it kicked me out of the administrative privileges of the Homekit, and the invited user is never able to join. Contacted Apple support after over an hour on the phone with them there is no solutions. Although they are aware of the problem. It seems like this has been going on for at least four years. Possibly not enough users have had this issue for Apple to create a solution to.

For the specific person you cannot add do they meet these prerequisites from Share control of your home - Apple Support?


If you can't share control of a home


It may help if they sign out of iCloud on their device and then sign back in again. Perhaps you should do the same.
