My lost iPhone X has been found after I erased It

My 264GB black iPhone X was stolen last Saturday. Yesterday I remotely erased my device.

This morning I got SMS & email saying -


Dear Customer,

Your lost iPhone X Space Gray has been found in Tel Aviv at 9:19 PM

Apple Support


The problem is I can no longer see the device in find my iPhone because I erased it.

What should I do?? HELP PLEASE 🥺

More than likely the email was a scam from those that found the device and they are trying to get you to divulge your ID and passcode.
