Logitech M317 mouse lags and randomly stops almost like its sticking in a way.

I have had my M1 MacBook Pro for 4 months now and have used my Logitech M317 mouse with it no problem. A few days ago I started realizing my mouse randomly started freezing and sticking in one spot for a few seconds however the trackpad works just fine. I tried the usual, restart, a different USB port for the adapter, a new battery, and nothing. No matter what I did I was getting the same problems. Even with a different mouse (same make and model M317), I was getting these problems. Any help possibly fixing this issue would be amazing!

Txs, Frank

P.S. I am NOT using an external display as I saw this be a problem in other treads.

Specs in case they help:
