External monitor occasional no signal issue

Hey guys, so I got the new MacBook Air recently and I use it mostly as a desktop in clamshell mode. It. is hooked up to a TB dock and an external monitor (3440x1440 144hz) via a usb c to DP cable. At first the monitor was also connected to the dock but after I noticed the no signal issue I connected it directly to my MacBook.

Anyways, about the issue: Occasionally, when I try to wake the device or even plug it in to my desktop setup, the Mac will not recognize the monitor and when I try to reconnet everything sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't... I really haven't found a solid solution for it...

anyone has any advice for this topic?

Thanks !
