AppleTV not working (selectable) in iPhone Shortcuts

Whenever I want to create a new Apple Shortcut on iPhone, and want to control my Apple TV, I cannot seem to get my Apple TV to be selected as the TV of choice in the Shortcut, it shows up in the list, but when I click it, the option doesn’t get chosen (very sometimes sporadically I am able to select it, but no idea why). Anyone have this same issue? And has anyone found a solution for this? Similar issue to this other thread from October 2020 that never had any responses, but it seemed 74 others had encountered the same issue (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251873680).
