Why does everyone on a group text have to see if someone “likes” a text? Can’t Apple change the program so that just the person who sent the text sees that someone likes it?
This is especially annoying when an android user “likes” a text and the whole text gets repeated. Anyone else agree with me?
Message reactions are made for iMessage and act as normal text messages. When being used over SMS/MMS it will appear as a normal text message due to the compatibility. I agree however that's a halt on the android end and is supposed to be used as a quick reaction, you can ask your recipient to not "like" it *Update* I just reread your message and there is a way to silence notifications, hit the group and then there should be a toggle so you don't get a push notification whenever someone messages the group
