HP Officejet J 4580 All-in-One printer that does not print . . . . .

And now a hard one: It seems that Big Sur recognizes my HP Officejet J4580 All-in-One printer but still nothing can be printed. Is there a solution for that issue?

HP don't support higher macOS version than 10.9 OS X Mavericks for that model

you can try contacting hp and ask if that will change

Reset the Mac's printing system,

Can you print photos and web pages using App's like Photos and Safari?

What App are you using to send a pdf to the printer?

(preview, pages, office, other)

Thank you "den.thed".

I've done it many times with no results. When I sent the pdf to the printer and press "print" the printer icon appears in the dock and seconds later it disappears unexpectedly. That's it. And then nothing . . . . .
