Does HP Thunderbolt Dock 120W G2 works for M1 Mac Pro? I have both Intel based MacBook Pro and M1 Pro ,

For Intel based MacBook Pro its working fine

For M1 Pro Display's aren't connecting

HP G5 Dock connection Recently my company sent me a HP G5 USB C dock to use for work laptop (HP laptop). I have Macbook Pro M1 Max 14 in laptop and two 4k monitors that I am trying to connect for my personal use. Currently when I connect, the monitor displays are mirrored and I know why given some of the answers on the internet. However, I have found that when I connect USB C from One of the monitors directly to my Macbook Pro, then connect other monitor to dock directly using the DisplayPort, I can get it to work. My concern is that would having 1 USB C cable from Dock and 1 USB C cable directly from monitor connected to my Macbook cause any kind of Damage?

Thunderbolt 3 Dock for a Mac Pro 2019 I want to use my CalDigit TS3 Plus Thunderbolt 3 dock that I normally use on my MacBook Pro 16 laptop (which serves as the power supply and dual monitor output) to my Mac Pro 2019 instead. It might be an obvious "no problem" but I want to make sure there are no inter-operability issues such as shorting the ports. Anyone using a Thunderbolt dock meant for a laptop on their Mac Pro 2019 desktop?

Studio Display and Thunderbolt Docks Hello, I am setting up my Studio Display with my 16” M1 Max MacBook Pro. I want to get a thunderbolt dock like the Caldigit TS3 Plus or something similar. Since the display and those docks both charge the computer, could I plug the dock into a USB C port on the display and use it without doing any harm to my Mac or the Studio Display?

You just need a Windows Laptop with USB-C / Thunderbolt for updating the dock. It’s pretty easy, just follow the link in my post.
