Unable to setup Mindspring (Earthlink) POP email in Mac Mail

I'm running Big Sur 11.2.3 and I want to setup Mac Mail to access my Mindspring (owned by Earthlink) email account. The new account defaults to imap, which keeps everything synced between my Macbook and the Earthlink server. I have limited storage on the Earthlink server, so I want to be able to delete from there but keep messages on my Mac. The old POP accounts let me do that, but I cannot figure out how to setup a POP account on this latest version of MacOS / Mail. Any advice appreciated.

Remove the IMAP account and add a new “Other Account type—Mail”

Enter bogus information for username and password. It will fail and allow you to configure manually.

You will need all of the server names, ports, and connection info for the account.
