URL Link in contacts

I have a new MacBook Pro and when I set up my business contacts, I like to put in the website page address in the URL link in the contacts. I've always been able to just hover over it and click it open. But all of a sudden, I CANNOT click on, or open any links I've copied and pasted into it.

Please help me if you can.
