I noticed my iphone so slow and laggy since updated to IOS 14.5.1 according to their recommend.
does anyone have the same problem?

I installed IOS 14.6 this morning. it looks all apps/functions no longer slow or laggy.
However internet speed is slower than before (IOS 14.6: Over 200 Mbps) after the restated
internet speeds are ranged from 100 Mbps to 130 Mbps.
after having waited for 10 mins to 20 mins, it comes to the previous speed.
at this point, my phone doesn't have any issue after installing IOS 14.6

Hey!! Use the charger to boot up your iphone. First power off your phone and then use the charger to reboot it. Somehow this way solved my problem, and I hope it'll solve yours as well.
Yes, after updating to 14.5.1, it is slower than my iPhone 8plus!
Make sure magnifier is turned off.
Never used magnifier. it's always turned off status.
Exactly, every functions are so slow and laggy on phone the same as soon as it restarted.
does the issues on your phone persist even after 20 mins to 40 mins?
My iPhone 12 also have this problem after update to 14.5.1,heating up so fast while playing some light game

Maybe try to keep charging your phone after it restarted for a few minutes. Let's use your phone when it's plugged in and see if there is any difference.
It seems I fixed my 12 Pro Max.
Try this: turn off the phone, leave it for a minute, plug in the charger, let it start normally
