Undo action after closing iMovie

I'm working on several clips in one project and I've been exporting each clip separately. It's been working fine until just now... After I exported a clip, I forgot to do command+Z to put all the clips back in place, and I mistakenly close iMovie. I reopened it and don't know how to get the rest of the clips back. :((

I saw in the previous threads and follow this guide.

Go/Home/Library/Containers/com.apple.iMovieApp/Data/Library/Caches/iMovieBackups

However, I can't find Containers. Tried to do it manually or use Go to Folder - end up on the same place, as below.

Please help...

Try doing Edit/Undo and see if that works.

Also, double check your file path to the Backups folder. You want to start with the Finder menu and click on Go and then on Home.

When the Home screen opens, you should get the below screen and then click on Library>Containers.

Another option would be to go to your Time Machine backup, if you have one, and restore your iMovie library to a point in time just before you closed iMovie.

O.K. The problem is that after you click on Go/Home the Library folder is not being displayed. After clicking on Go/Home go back up to the Finder menu and click on View/ Show View Options. In the View Options box that appears, make sure that there is a check mark in the box titled Show Library Folder. Once the Library folder is displayed, click on Library/Containers.

Hi Rich,

Try doing Edit/Undo and see if that works >> nope, it doesn't work.

double check your file path to the Backups folder. >> I can't seem to find the Containers folder as I captured in my previous message.

Finder - Go , and this is what comes up

After click Home, this is what comes up:

So, i try to put the full path to Go To Folder

This is what comes up - there's no Containers folder anywhere:

Time Machine backup >> unfortunately I can't screenshot it. The menu bar on the top isn't visible and I don't seem to be able to see any timeline on the right side - they're just small stripes - as if no history at all.

Feel like I'm at a dead-end now.. any other way I should try?
