AirDrop "Declined" - why?
I am trying to air drop a folder (50.9 mg) from my Macbook Pro (Big Sur OS) to my iMac (Catalina OS), and it is being "declined." Does anyone know what I might do to solve this problem?

Are you signed on to both Macs using the same Apple ID? If they’re really both your Macs, you should be. If someone else is involved, (s)he would (and should) be using her/his own Apple ID and need to accept the AirDrop request.

Thank you for your suggestions. Yes, I was signed in with the same Apple ID, the Mac and iMac are mine and they were 6" from each other, yet the air drop was declined. I ended up using an external device to move the information. I'm still not sure what the problem was.
So by MG you mean Megabytes?
Try, of course, restarting your iMac. also, make sure you are on the same WiFi network.
