having trouble with my mac

My device is MacBook pro 2015 version is 11.2.3,

from couple of weeks ... I had problems dealing with it.

It becomes very slow and applications took time to open..

also, I couldn't update to new version"Didn’t get a response from the Apple Software..." (App store page is blank too).

my network is active, I have tried restarting it and couple of things and they did not work

Ensure you have a complete backup.


Run the Hardware Diagnostics, and see if any errors are reported.


Boot Safe Mode, and try the update again. Safe Mode disabled various add-ons, and rebuilds caches.


If you have an add-on VPN client app, remove that, reboot, and try again.
