iTunes Radio keeps stopping playback in iTunes on OSX and iOS

I routinely use Apple Radio (Pure Country, Singer Songwriter, to name a few stations) on my iPad and iMac. One issue I've been experiencing in recent months is consistent music stoppage. The station will just stop playing forcing me to hit the Play button.

The issue is even worse on my iMac OSX via iTunes. Most of the time when I click on a radio station, it seems to be just buffering. For the record, I'm on a 1000 Ethernet wired connection and internet connectivity is not the problem here.

I was just wondering if this has been reported by other users?

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having some issues streaming from both your macOS and iOS devices, correct? If so, we would love to help see if we can get the issue resolved for you.

You mentioned that you're having the issue in both operating systems, but you don't think it is connection related. Have you tested the issue on another network?

If streaming from Apple Music and not using radio, does the issue happen?

Is the issue constant on both devices, or intermittent? If intermittent you may try checking to see if there is an issue on the Apple side when it occurs.

System Status

If you test on another network and the issue doesn't occur, you may also want to check to make certain there isn't any VPN or security software installed that may be causing the issue as well.
