upgrade to Big Sur

Hi, I've upgraded on my MacBook Pro from Middle 2012 DDR from 4GB to 8GB and was able upgrade from Maverick to Catalina even Catalina doesn;t supported this system but this Mac has 2.5 GHz dualcore i5 from Intel and Catalina run on it pretty fast. Now I tried to upgrade on next top level Big Sur and my friend MacBook Air with 1.7GHz run fast but Apple don't wanna allow me to install it. It even didnt allow me to download it so I create USB Bootable installer for Big Sur but message saying cant install this OS on this Mac. Has anyone advice how to upgrade it or I'm definitelly stuck on max level OS for this Machine and will have to buy new one MacBook.

Thank you advance for your Advice.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15
