Audio Cutting Out

For the past several months when listening to downloaded music in Apple Music the audio stops abruptly when I exit the Amazon App and the Amazon Alexa app. The audio will stop playing for a second or two then continue. It doesn’t seem to do it when I’m streaming my music on Spotify and exiting the afore mentioned Amazon apps. I was hoping the new iOS update (14.5) would help solve this bug. However, it has not helped as the problem persists.

I am running iOS 14.5.1 on an iPhone 11.

Hello Philwill360,

We see that you're experiencing issue with music playback in the Music app after closing the Amazon app. Does this happen with any other apps or just these two? Do you have an app updates available? How to manually update apps on your Apple device

If you remove apps and reinstall them, does the issue continue?

If the issue is related to software, restoring an iCloud Backup may bring that issue back. Go ahead and remove the third-party apps, reinstall them and test for the issue again. Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Yes, all my apps are up to date. It only seems to happen when listening to Apple Music and when I close the Amazon app. I have not tried to delete either app and reinstall. However, I reset my phone from a iCloud backup several months ago and the problem persisted.
