My AirPods were washed but they still turn on and what not but it’s not showing the name for the device what can I do to fix this

My AirPods were washed but I’m still able to charge them and they turn on but they won’t show up at all I don’t have the device name on my phone at all these were given to me but they won’t show up so if I needed to reset my AirPods I can’t because they’re not there
