What causes a blooping sound when the phone is hooked up?

Starting about two weeks ago, my CarPlay would make this god awful screeching sound while reading my texts to me. It would also not hear about half of what I’d say back in response. First text my new iPhone 13 read this morning it made the same damn sound again! Anyone else experience this? What do I need to do to resolve this?

Probably the start of charging sound. (The USB will also charge the phone)
