iPad made a fake FaceTime video call

My daughter’s iPad made a FaceTime video call to my sister while my daughter was at school and the iPad was at home. She told me she tried to FaceTime my sister yesterday and the calls were failing. Is there any way one of those calls were delayed and the iPad sent the call through today?? Just confused how this happened. Also, the FaceTime was on my sister’s call log but not on my daughter’s call log.

Hi there Sfrandy,

We understand your daughter's iPad is experiencing an issue with making FaceTime calls, and we'd like to share a resource that can help.

Take a look at it here: If you can't make a FaceTime call on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If FaceTime is enabled with the same Apple ID account on any other devices and the call was made from there at that time, this may be why she received it. Learn more about FaceTime here: Use FaceTime with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

We hope this helps.
