how to connect iPod classic to Mac book Air?
I am trying to connect my iPod classic onto my Mac book air (macOS Big Sur).
On the iPod, the screen mentions "Connected" but I can't see the device anywhere on the computer.

Your classic should appear in Finder. Note that options for manually managing devices in Catalina and Big Sur are reduced when compared to iTunes. You can drag new content on, or delete what is there, but you cannot play or edit what is already on the device. Syncing with selected playlists is a better approach. See Recover media from an iPod - Apple Community if you have content on the device that isn't in your library.

unfortunately it does not appear in Finder... (however, the screen on the iPod classic says "connected").
