Music not available in my region but its my music that i bought and ripped onto pc before downloading to iphone?

The content purchased over many years as physical cd’s and ripped into windows media player and itunes. Then copied from iTunes to iPhone but now some are greyed out.

So I have purchased the physical content, it’s my property etc.

It seems that Apple is acting as if we are steaming content from a music service ( them?) that has to have the rights and that there are subscriptions to pay and royalties to go to artists.

In law the content (CD) has been purchased, paid for) and capitalised. The artist has received their royalties. We have the right to listen anywhere in the world regardless of where it was purchased on where we are now ( in fact purchased in UK, where I am).

In practical terms suggests we might not be able to copy music to listen on holiday or when travelling! Not really fit for purpose.

Thinking therefore that I will get a music player at at next upgrade switch back to android.
