Office 365 icons

So I was just minding my own business and watching youtube when I saw a Microsoft auto-update pop up, no biggie, I thought and I kept on doing what I was doing after the update had finished I noticed that my icons had changed, but not my teams and word icon for some reason, does anyone have a reasonable explanation for this? and can I change the word and teams icon as well. I know I can do get info and copy and paste an image/icon that way but I learned that after a while the icons disappear and I have to change it again, i want to change it permanently. also i dont know if you can see it or not but if not you might have to scroll down to see the full image

I did do a hard restart and nothing changed, i just eventually decided to do a full reinstall of the apps and the word icon changed but not teams, an app popped up tho saying that all the apps were fully up to date. So maybe the teams icon just hasn’t changed yet

  1. Try restarting your Mac...maybe that will knock the icons back into shape. Actually shut it down and power it back on
  2. Check for updates manually in the Mac App Store. Maybe the update failed in some way as far as the icons go
  3. Wait for the next update of those particular apps...maybe the updated icons will be installed correctly

That's about all I have for suggestions. 🤷‍♂️
