2019 MacBook Pro hinge crack/pop

For the past couple months my 2019 MacBook pro 13" base model has been developing a hinge crack when any pressure is put on it. Whether I'm picking it up or typing with it in my lap it makes a crack or pop noise. It's been progressively getting worse. The only support I've gotten was a complete chassis replacement that would cost over $900. I can't even take it in to the genius bar as apple stores remain closed for the next couple weeks. The hinge feels strong and does not wiggle however it is annoying when it just randomly pops when watching movies or typing. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, in advance.

Unfortunately that is an issue that can only be properly diagnosed in person since it appears you are just slightly moving the Display in the video. There is a slim possibility that the display assembly may be hitting the edge of the Top Case Assembly or the Bottom Case. There is very little clearance on either side of the hinge/clutch cover.

Now I have heard an intermittent loud popping sound on some of our organization's USB-C Apple laptops that I've never been able to pin point, but I don't think that is what is happening in your video.
