Unknown user account

I noticed an unknown user profile in my login page. I have not created any account other than the admin one. My guest user account is turned off too. This unknown account is named "Other" and asks for name and password when clicked on. How to remove this account?

I updated my macOs from Catalina to Big Sur but still the account persists.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

Ventura 13.0.1 (22A400): Unknown App 'Alec Carlson' on Login Items in Settings I just upgraded to Ventura 13.0.1 (22A400) on my MacBook Pro (16", 2019) and noticed an unknown entry 'Alec Carlson'. Nothing with those words was found when I searched the hard drive. Any idea what this entry could be and where it could be coming from and how to remove it? Thanks, Ramki.

This is not an account itself.

Usually this means that the mac has been set to be able to use accounts managed by an Active Directory service.

Go to your Mac settings and “Users and Groups”. What users do you see on the list in the left hand side of the dialog?

Just the admin profile. And the guest user turned off. This profile is not shown there.
