How do I reset the I watch if I watch was locked due to multiple attempts to add passcode by a toddler

I got the message on I watch “too many passcode attempts reset Apple Watch and pair again.


On my phone and I reset and unpaired the watch.


the message is still showing on the watch and I am unable to pair it back to my phone anymore. Please advice how do I get rid of the message and pair the watch back to the device?

On a computer, go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

Go to Find Iphone.

Select All Devices, then click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase Apple Watch.

Select Next until the device is erased.

Click the remove button next to your Apple Watch.
