Kodak printer compatibility with Big Sur
Hi Folks,
I have the KodakESP 1.2 printer. Just upgraded to Mac Big Sur 11.2.3. Cannot find a printer driver for my Kodak. Is there one before I dash out and open a ton of money on a new printer?

Kodak left the consumer print industry in 2013. No one has been making Kodak printer drivers for 8 years, and printer drivers compatible with macOS Big Sur would have to be migrated from 32-bit to 64-bit and recompiled with the Big Sur SDK. This is not going to happen, so your Kodak printer may be still usable on Windows, but not on macOS Big Sur. Time to shop for a new printer that appears on Apple's AirPrint list of network-ready printers.
Here are the Kodak printers that Apple supports via AirPrint:
Printers are not as expensive as they once were, and the real cost that you need to explore for any printer is that of replacement cartridges that may cost as much as 60% of the printer purchase price.

It takes less than 30 seconds to plumb the GutenPrint Supported Printers site and provide an answer to the OP:
This still does not automatically imply all features of a printer on this list are supported.
You can also check the link below. There you will find printer drivers for many older non-supported printers which have been written by volunteers. There may be one that works for you. Good luck.
