Hello experts,
Having purchased the Mac mini recently, I'm still learning to use the system and the keyboard. I do have a macally bluetooth keyboard, while most of the general keys do work, however there seems to be few shortcuts that do not work. For example when I press cmd+m, I believe it is suppose to minimize the active application window but it doesn't. Any inputs/suggestions pls?

The Command and Alt (option) are reversed on Generic and PC keyboards.
To check, open your keyboard viewer and test the Command and Alt (option) keys.
If you want/need to change the Modifier Keys, go to the Keyboard Preference, click on Modifier keys.... reverse the Command and Alt (option) keys, then click OK.
Also note, that a "Double mouse click on the windows title bar can be set to Minimize the window.

I run dual displays and rarely use Full Screen mode for anything except for an occasional DVD movie with the DVD player.
Use Esc to back out of Full Screen mode and Command M to Minimize the window to the Dock.
thanks much I will check that, what I noticed is that if the window is in full screen or maximized mode the coand+m doesn't seem to work.
