MacBook Pro logout automatically in a few seconds or min.

My laptop is MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-in, Late 2013)

I had this problem after I completed software update this morning. Now it logout automatically in a few seconds ~ few minutes even during I was in the middle of scrolling pages. I checked the security & Privacy from system preference. It shows "require password 5 seconds after sleep or screen saver begins". The check box is disabled and I can't make adjustment. The odd thing is it logout/request password when I was doing something. The computer didn't sleep. The screen became black and I had to press power button to make it live and re-login. I can't do anything except keeping login. Please help.

You can try repair a Mac disk with Disk Utility https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210898

next—

A non-destructive option is to re-install the macOS on top of your existing macOS:

Verify >System Preferences>Security & Privacy>Filevault>Advanced

You have to unlock the padlock to proceed to the Advanced or make changes

I did it. I tried both un-check this box or set log out after 60 minutes of inactivity. But I was not able to change this box. It says "require password 5 seconds after sleep or screen saver begins. The check box was disabled some how. Anyway, it was automatically logout no matter sleep or not because I didn't stop using my mouse. It just logged out after 3~5 minutes. I didn't see any pattern yet.
