iPhone 12 Pro Max - HDR Videos transferred to Windows 10
Can someone please explain what happens with HDR Photos and HDR Videos made with the iPhone 12 Pro Max when transferred to Windows 10 via cable through Windows Explorer copy/paste.
Does this make the .HEIC Photos and .HEVC videos lose their HDR metadata?
Also, why is the EXIF metadata (camera type, shutter speed, GPS coordinates…) not visible through Windows Explorer - (right click - view file details)?
I am primarily using the Windows-based PC as a storage for photo/video material made with the iPhone 12 Pro Max, but it seems that I cannot transfer the original quality files.
This is a problem since the file, when I import it back to the iPhone, is no longer the original HDR file.
If anyone has a way or preserving the HDR original when transferring to Windows 10, please let me know.
