After waking up my Mac Mini M1 with Big Sur 11.3.1 from stand-by, my Homepods Mini (stereo paired) stay completely silent. They are connected, Airplay is active, sound is active and the top of both HomePods is illuminated. All seems to be working, but no sound.... When I reboot the Mac, everything works perfect again. I have tried resetting the Homepods, but that doesn't work.

See this post. I've seen others that suggest closing coreaudiod, although in my case I couldn't see either of those just now so have rebooted again.
