Battery drain on iOS 14.6
my battery life on iOS 14.6 is terrible… is it just me or anyone is experiencing this thing too??
Not only iPhones, now IPods as well! My iPod last 5h! They just having a laugh! Never Apple again!

Battery draining too fast and heating while charging after updating to iOS 14.6.
Yeah I was really hoping to avoid the restore option, but may have no choice.
What phone do you have? That’s an incredible battery life.
I have iPhone 12 Pro max

How large is your music collection?
My podcast library is about 250 shows and I have 75gb worth of downloaded episodes.
My music library is about 120gb of downloaded shows.
My problem with battery drain seems to have gone away for the most part. I am on an iPhone 12 and don’t use the podcast application.
Apple needs to fix the podcast battery drain. If not, either need to find another app or switch to Android. The new podcast app is terrible. Whoever designed it must not use it.
i tried fourteen point seven and ver. fifteen op system and it is almost the same. just plain phone calls sucks the battery so much. it was totally fine with 14.4.1. it started with 14.5
Everything was fine before 14.6 and after updating, I am experiencing the same issue. Even disabled background refresh/activity and updates and it shows 61% activity for the App Store.
the slope is even steeper for me 96% health iphone7
I turned off Find My network and battery life improved around 30% , but still much faster than 14.4
It’s bad to the point that it’s plugged to a fully charged battery case and the internal battery percentage still keeps dropping
