Asus proart monitor no display connected via USB C
I just brought a new Asus monitor proArt PA279AC and i plug it into my thunderbolt port (Usb-c) and my imac does not see it. My Imac(late 2020) have the latest version of Big Sur 11,4.

Have you used https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202351 paying close attention to the section "Connect Your Display? Chances are you don't have the correct adapter to complete the connection. After getting the correct adapter re-test and if you continue to have a problem, give AppleCare a call.
If that does not work, please contact Asus for support. They will need to know the specs of the iMac you have have.

If you are using PA279CV and encounter the problem such like no display the screen when connecting through the Type-C port, please download this PA279CV FW and PA279CV Hub PD FW update tools to update the FW for PA279CV if using a Mac with M1 CPU.

You may need to change the ProArt settings to use Display Port v1.2 or v1.4 depending on the default. Otherwise, wrong potential configuration per rkaufman87.
