On iPhone 12, IOS 14.6, got Apple Music subscription last month and since then have not been able to remove songs from my playlists without deleting them from my library and having to re-add and re-download them. There is no option I can find to simply remove from the playlist.

This should be embarrassing to not be an option. You can turn on a hot tub from outer space but accidentally hitting the wrong song is a bridge too far

At least when you purchased CDs, you own it and no one can take it away.

No, I do not subscribe to Apple Music. I purchase music via iTunes.

I switched as well. I don’t have time for this among the other issues I’ve had with Apple Music over the past year.
Me, I’ve been trying the opposite: delete a song from my library but not have it removed from all playlists. It’s so taxing and unnecessary. I miss the old Apple Music.
