Well, sure.

Match the serial number against the engraved serial number, or from the serial number display in Settings > General > About,

Click or tap > Find the serial number or IMEI on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Now if you’re wondering if you can use a serial number or IMEI for the equivalent of Find My, no. That’d be a privacy disaster, and an abusive ex or crook’s dream.

On the back of the iPad, The serial number will be shown at the bottom. Or go to Settings > General > About.
